The note written to the right of the stamp and postmark (in blue ballpoint) is that of my mother's and was put on there when she and Daddy went through the Red Box of pictures.

The postcard says:

Dear Girlie I'am sending you the Rose Beeds I do hope you ll get it safe an I' hope you will like it let me know when you get it. I' will write you in a few days.
