======================================= WHAT'S NEW About the time I think I’m finally getting a handle on things, I misplace the handle. Well, perhaps this isn’t exactly the truth but Ido seem to be suffering from that ancient Chinese curse: I’m having an interesting life. You may have noticed this from the timely publication of this October issue. On the home front, the cause of the death is still unknown, the stroke wasn’t stroke (though they’re still running tests to be absolutely certain), and the virulent pneumonia was caught in the – TAH DAH – nick of time and was thoroughly and quite soundly trounced. I spend four weeks with another friend helping her out after having the rotator cuff in her right shoulder repaired. And at the end of the month I shall be in the Murder Mystery “Who Killed Charlotte Glen.” What I haven’t done a whole lot of is spent time on the computer. Ah, well, there’s always next month. ======================================= THIS MONTH’S FEATURE: Suzanne PEPIN and her two husbands, François GODFROY and Pierre JAVRAY. Last month we looked at Joseph PEPIN (2Robert1Robert), and his wife, Marie-Louise FRENCHE. This month we look at Joseph’s younger sister Suzanne and her two husbands, and their kids. Suzanne(2Robert1Robert), was baptized in 1719 and buried 6 Feb 1793. She married François GODFROY on 15 Jan 1748. François GODFROY, son of François GODFROY and Jeanne CRONIER, was baptized in 1717 and buried 3 June 1764 in Détroit. Suzanne and François had 7 kids. 1. Marie-Anne GODFROY, baptized 26 May 1750; married 6 May 1765, Jacques ANDRÉ 2. Louise GODFROY, baptized 13 Sep 1751; married 31 May 1767, François PRUDHOMME 3. Charles-François GODFROY, baptized 30 Oct 1753 4. Elizabeth GODFROY, 15 Nov 1754 5. Mary-Joseph GODFROY, baptized 26 Jul 1756
7. Madeleine GODFROY, baptized 8 Nov 1760 On 10 Sept 1764, in Détroit, Suzanne married Pierre Javray. Pierre JAVRAY, son of Pierre Javray and Françoise LEPELLETIER, was baptized in Détroit. NO children listed for Suzanne and Pierre. If you can add, subtract or correct any of the above, e-mail me and tell me about it. ======================================= RAMBLINGS FROM THE EDITOR Things have been busy enough lately, I honestly don’t have much to ramble about. Though, I am starting to wonder if this is what’s it’s like to have a Life. Then again it could just be one of the menopausal things. I know there are a bunch of emails from you folks in the backlog; I’ll get there. One of the cooler things that have happened is that I was able to recover some lost email. Got some pretty cool black and white pictures of Québec City from the 1950s, and a neat chunk of info about something else pertinent to the Pépin clan; both are slated for the web site. But before I fall asleep on the keyboard – again – I’ll get this sent off. ======================================= NEWSLETTER INFORMATION If you have family you want to share this with but they don't have a computer, please feel free to print it out and share it with them.
