June & July 2005 -- Vol 6, Nos. 6 & 7

Cousins,

Today's day is July 6.

Happy Canada Day
Happy 4th of July

Um...

There isn't going to be a June newsletter, and if there's a July, it will be towards the end of the month, but I strongly expect that July may not happen either.

It's not due to *ANY* lack of interest. It's due more to there only being 24 hours in a day, and a mere 7 days in a week. And it's not for any big and scary reason either.

My re-enactment group is setting up at the Tall Ships event in Vancouver BC, July 7, 8, 9, & 10. 19 wooden sailing ships are coming into English Bay near the Maritime Museum.  For you cousins in the area, stop by if you can. (Wish I could tell you
where to get tickets; www.seavancouver.ca)

On July 16th, we're off to Barkerville (8 hours north and a bit east of Vancouver) for a week or so.  May be helping friends move somewhere around the 28th and then, July 30/31Aug 1, I'll be at Brigade at Fort Langley.  Aug 13 & 14 is Brigade at Fort Nisqually.  Aug 27 & 28 is English Camp on Washington State's San Juan Island -- maybe.

And then I'm going to sleep for a week.

<insert wry grin HERE>

I do this because I love it.

Anyway, I'm thinking about you all (or y'all, depending upon your particular geographic location), most specially those who celebrated birthdays in June (you know who you are {Happy Birthday / Bon anniversaire}).

Keep your eye on an e-mail inbox near you.

love & hugs

Lisa
